Find out what others have to say about Karen...

Last Saturday, March 3, I attended the Fantasy Face Painting Workshop with Karen Sawyer. This workshop was absolutely amazing! Karen’s organized but witty presentation of tips and techniques was informative as well as entertaining! She was exceptionally knowledgeable, and willingly shared answers to all of the participants questions.

I am a resident of Southern Maryland and had discovered this workshop on a face painting class website. As a beginning face painter, I had spent time searching for classes that were locally in the area and just in Maryland alone. Although I am not a member of CAC, because of distance, it was well worth the trip to come out on Saturday. Because face painting workshops/classes are extremely scarce, I would like to request that Karen be invited back to continue sharing the wealth of knowledge she had to give us during her workshop. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this email, and also for considering offering more Full Face painting workshops. I eagerly look forward to seeing more workshops in the future.

Sincerely,
Valarie

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed Karen Sawyer’s Fantasy Face Painting Class. She was an excellent teacher. She took the time to help all of us and we were all there wanting to learn for different reasons. Also she was very generous with her supplies allowing us to test the different products. I really appreciated this as I am new to the world of face painting and she helped me decide what products would be best for me without spending a ton of money on products I didn’t need. She was very patient and provided all of us 1 on 1 opportunity during class. I learned so much from her and she helped me in the areas where I was having difficulty. She is an awesome artist and I would love to see her back teaching additional classes. Balloon Sculpting, Clowning, Intermediate Fantasy Face Painting… you name it. Also, can you please tell me if you have a mailing list I can join to keep informed of classes/events.

Thank you!
